Hey All,
Here are two more job opportunities. Do not worry about the requirements
as it appears that they are somewhat interested in VSU. If you are
interested at all, I would apply.

Morning! I work with a lot of IO psychologists from the Mid-Atlantic
region now, and they've figured out that I have access to a network of
people in the South. If possible, would you mind forwarding this job
opportunity to whomever is in charge of the IO program at VSU? (I vaguely
recall that Dr. Wiley recently retired and moved to Auburn.)

Thank you!

Hi Shannon,

Here is the IO Job Mentioned. Please forward to all people or schools you
feel applicable.

See you tomorrow, maybe? I will be in and out.

Rabiah,

As you know, I work with Siena Consulting down in Jefferson County,
Alabama, to help build up the Jefferson County Commission HR department and
close out a 35+-year consent decree concerning discrimination in employment.

Right now, I am trying to find candidates for the position of IO
Psychologist in the JCC HR Department. The IO Psychologist runs a division
of primarily selection professionals (who are likewise primarily other IO
Psychologists, largely with Master's degrees). In addition to having the
opportunity to sculpt selection in Jefferson County and play a pivotal role
in exiting the consent decree, the IO Psychologist would have incredible
support, mentoring, development, and coaching from the Receiver and Siena
consulting. Further, the IO Psychologist would also have the opportunity to
develop and implement assessment centers, and to work collaboratively with
other HR divisions (including Affirmative Action and Employee/Org
Development) to support diversity in a variety of ways in the County.

In short, this is a great career move for an early- to mid-career IO PhD
who is passionate about equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace.
I'm very hopeful that, given your interest in diversity and selection, you
may know someone who you think might be well suited for and excited by this
role

I have a formal job description (attached), and the website for applying
follows. However, the formal job description does not include some of the
contextual information that makes this such an interesting job opportunity.

Best,
Juliet
