Reporting to the university's provost at the Main Campus, the dean of TUJ also serves as the CEO of Temple Educational Support Services Ltd. (TESS), a Japanese for-profit corporation through which the educational operations of TUJ are conducted. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who understands the academic culture of American higher education and brings significant international expertise. A doctoral or terminal degree, proficiency in Japanese and deep familiarity with Japan is preferred.
