MEXICO There will be a meeting of students interested in going to M?xico for Summer study abroad. The program runs from June 11 thru July 17, 2009. Students will have the opportunity to visit Puerto Vallarta and many historical sites. Students will have the opportunity to live with a local family and experience the culture first-hand. Students may take 6 hours of Spanish or 9 hours of Spanish and content classes. The meeting for interested students will be held on January 29, 2009, from 6-7 P.M. in West Hall 138. ARGENTINA Students interested in going to Argentina should contact Dr. Susan Wehling at swehling at valdosta.edu or you may call at 229-333-7100 or 229-333-5948. The program runs from June 7- June 26. Students will live with a host family and and may take Spanish courses at the 2001, 2002, 4980 and 4020 levels or Political Science 1101. All expenses except tuition are included in the cost of the trip. PERU Students interested in going to Peru should contact Dr. Amy Aronson-Friedman at aaronson at valdosta.edu or you may call at 229-333-7102 or 229-333-5948. The program runs from July 4-August 1. Spend three weeks with a Peruvian family and earn 3 to 6 semester hours in Spanish. All expenses except tuition are included in the cost of the trip. Patricia A.
