[LASA] Opening Event-Hispanic Heritage Month- Photography Exhibit

[Latin American Student Association]

As an opening event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, Modern and
Classical Languages will host a photography exhibit outside the HUB area in
Odum Library, featuring the works of Luis Bejarano. Dr. Bejarano is an
Artist and Associate Professor of Spanish in The Department of Modern and
Classical Languages.  His work has its roots in the Hispanic cultures, and
presents a beautiful display of color and inspiring creative textures. The
exhibit will open with a reception, today, Wednesday, October 1, at  6 P.M.
Included in this exhibit will be a photography display created as part of
the Student Service Learning experience.  The photographs depict families in
the Hispanic Community, in the Valdosta area.  Come join us for the opening
reception.
