[Latin American Student Association]

Announcement I

The Latin American Student Organization (LASA) will have its final 

meeting of the semester Wednesday, the 28th of November at 7 P.M. at 

Hildegard's restaurant on Patterson Street, downtown Valdosta. This will be
the final opportunity this Semester to join LASA.

 

II

LASA is coordinating a Toy Drive with the Department of Labor and Toys for
Tots, with the Toys to be distributed to farm workers' children in the Lake
Park area. Please bring your wrapped or unwrapped toys to the Department of
Modern and Classical Languages on the first floor of West Hall. If wrapped,
they should be tagged as to if they are for a boy or for a girl , and for
what age. Your generosity for those less fortunate will be appreciated. 

 

III

LASA is planning a trip this Spring to the street festival Calle Ocho in
Miami and tentatively to the Bay of Pigs Museum if time permits. Members and
non-member students interested in going should contact Murray White at
mfwhite at valdosta.edu
