OVERVIEW

  *   This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the City's human resource functions.
  *   Major duties for this position include:
  *   Providing assistance to the Human Resources team in all administrative areas
  *   Answering telephone and greeting visitors; providing information and assistance; taking messages and referring to appropriate personnel
  *   Making copies of documents as needed
  *   Preparing a variety of correspondence and memoranda
  *   Sorting and distributing mail
  *   Assisting in maintenance of department files and records
  *   Completing special projects
  *   Performing related duties



QUALIFICATIONS

  *   Coursework in the field of Human Resources or Business Management preferred
  *   Working toward a degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred
  *   Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
  *   Strong attention to detail in all tasks required
  *   Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality required
