Is responsible for conducting soil and water sampling as assigned and 
performs field testing in accordance with proper QA/QC protocol. He/She 
prepares a daily project report per request of the Project 
Engineer/Scientist. The person needs to be reliable (responsibilities, 
tardiness, etc.) and have a good work ethic. They need to be able to 
cooperate with co-workers and clients and they also should be able to 
listen, understand and follow instructions. They must show respect for 
company property.


Performs field quality control testing and inspections correctly

Prepares daily reports regarding all work performed

Receives and understands instructions

Contacts engineer/scientist or supervisor if questions or problems arise, 
or as instructed

Follows safety procedures, reports unsafe conditions to engineer/scientist 
or supervisor

Procures, prepares, transports and tests samples

Be observant; reports any helpful information not specifically requested by 
project engineer/scientist or supervisor

Maintains inspection vehicle and equipment, including calibration

Follows safety procedures

Other duties may be assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed 
to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, and extreme 
heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The 
noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Prior soils and groundwater sampling experience preferred; experience with 
maintaining remedial systems a plus.

Valid Florida Drivers License with acceptable driving record is required; 
class "D" license preferred

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Valid driver's license.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and 
occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
