<strong>CALL FOR PAPERS</strong></p>
<p>The <em>Yonsei Journal of International Studies </em>(YJIS) is a biannual interdisciplinary journal affiliated with the Center for International Studies and run by the Yonsei University Graduate School of International Studies inSeoul, South Korea. The YJIS welcomes
submissions from all scholars, especially graduate students and junior professors that fall within the diverse field of International Studies.</p>
<p><strong>We are currently accepting submissions for the </strong><strong>up</strong><strong>coming Spring/Summer 2016 issue!</strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>The YJIS encompasses a wide scope of varying disciplines and methodologies, but each issue will attempt to be thematic. The YJIS is divided into three sections, in addition to an interview section managed by the editingstaff.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>P</strong><strong>APERS</strong><br>
This section includes feature-length articles of original research and must include proper citations. Papers should range from 3,000 to 8,000 words.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>E</strong><strong>SSAYS</strong><br>
This section includes essays that take stances on issues and develop sophisticated arguments in the form of editorials, recommendations and reflections. Essays should range from 1,500 to 3,000 words.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>R</strong><strong>EVIEWS</strong><br>
This section focuses on evaluations and reviews of existing arguments contained in essays, articles and books, in addition to policy reviews or previously published material in the YJIS. Reviews should be no longer than 2,000 words.<br>

All submissions must be formatted in Microsoft Word and include an abstract. Please adhere to the online<a href="http://theyonseijournal.com/guidelines" rel="nofollow"><strong>submission guidelines</strong></a>.
