Asia Council colleagues,

I'm forwarding this message from Sunita Martin, one of our previous speakers at the Teaching Asian faculty development workshop. If you know faculty at your institutions who would be interested in reviving the Teaching the Middle East workshop, please forward to them.

Thanks,
Eric Kendrick

Eric,

I hope you are well!

Could you circulate the questionnaire below among the Asia Council listserve? Some of us at GCSU are trying to resurrect the Teaching the Middle East workshops.

Thanks!
Sunita

Hello everyone,

We are trying to gauge interest among USG faculty in attending a workshop on incorporating issues relating to the Middle East in your courses. The workshop, inspired by the very popular Teaching the Middle East Workshops that ran from 2002-12, will be a 2-day immersive experience. The workshop will be led by Middle East specialists and will be targeted to faculty who are not specialists in the field of Middle East Studies. Please complete the Google questionnaire found below.

Also, please circulate this questionnaire among faculty in your institutions who might be interested in attending the workshop
