About CommunityAnnouncements	English (USA)
Community Announcements is a service of Valdosta State University for the purpose of disseminating information regarding events occurring on campus or within the greater VSU community. Events of interest to VSU faculty and staff include, but are not limited to general professional news such as upcoming conferences and calls for papers, community events of interest to VSU faculty and staff, or other events of common interest. Postings are limited to conveying information about the event itself, specifically the name, date(s), time(s), place, and sponsoring organization of the event. Using CommunityAnnouncements
To post a message to all the list members, send email to communityannouncements@lighthouse.valdosta.edu. Please send email in plain text only with no attachments of any kind. Also, please allow a minimum of 24 hours between submission and distribution. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CommunityAnnouncements
Subscribe to CommunityAnnouncements by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name:   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
